Start JDeveloper, create a new Database connection using the defaults. You could also enter ipconfig to get the IP Address.Ĥ. Simple and to the point steps (by the way, if someone else figures out a better way, that would be helpful cause I was just trying to get it working :-) ) I have been reading the Oracle/Mac Intel forum for some help and finally thought, maybe I could do this another way and I got it to work. Excited I am.I have been able to connect JDeveloper to a Oracle XE database running under Parallels for Mac on on MacBook Pro 17" with a 2.33GH Intel Duo Core processor.
